Elvis Anyone?

Danny had a meeting at South Padre Island, TX, and I tagged along for a few days. One night we ate at a dive called Dirty Al's. Danny made me take a zap with the entertainment in between sets. We bonded when I told him I was from Tupelo, birthplace of the king. He said he liked my accent. Love me tender!

Happy Anniversery Kim!

Happy Anniversery to you and Jeffrey! Can't believe it's been 8 years since that rainy day in Tupes. And I can't believe it's been 10 years since I went to super bulldog weekend as a student! Thanks for reliving it for us. I can smell the hot dogs and beer now!

Super Bulldog Weekend relived

Oh, the memories... the aroma of spicy crawfish and cold beer lingering around the town of Starkville beginning Thursday - the girl in the pretty dress and no makeup walking up South Montgomery in cute strappy heels as we headed to church Sunday morning that I wanted to pick up to save her a little misery - I mean, did she not have anyone to call and pick her up? The Huddle House parking lot overflow on Saturday morning - and the Oby's line being wrapped around the building at Sunday lunch for that last bite before heading back home... those were the days!
Full of fun (and maybe some not so fun) memories from those days that we will never forget and wouldn't trade for the world, it's always enjoyable to sit back and watch as others get to share in those same experiences as we did long years ago. Hard to believe that I will celebrate my 8 year anniversary tomorrow (Happy April Fools Day!) and that I am now living in Starkville examining the current college lifestyles at the baseball stadium in right field while sitting in my maroon chair at 31 years YOUNG, with my 3 year old eating pickle relish out of packages from the concession stand - yes, disgusting, and she loved every bite of the 9 packs - and so pregnant that I can barely get out of the chair, and Jeffrey is enjoying every moment as if he were a child himself. Things do change, but it's always fun to look back on the past and relive those precious memories up to the current future and look at what all has happened and how far we have come! I hope these students will cherish these times and be as fortunate as us to have such blessings as fun memories and wonderful friends!!!

The Peasters on Easter Morning

Now Blogging!!!!

Ok girls - I am an official blogger. I see that a blog I started to create last year is appearing in my blogs and is titled "The Peaster Family Blog" - and contains nothing but the title - ha! Am I a terrible wife and mother, too busy, or have my priorities out of sync? Maybe a little but of all combined....
LOVE the photo from KT's shower - can someone get me a copy of it? Those thinner days seem like such a distant memory....
Our Char lunch was absoultely fabulous - as I said before, I am so blessed to have such awesome friends - I could have stayed all day! Please let's do again soon....
I am going to attempt to post a few pics from Easter weekend - hope you all are having a wonderful week - tomorrow's FRIDAY!!!
