Cade and Barack
Cade sent this message on e-mail...this would not have happened to anyone else!
"Yall. I just had the craziest thing EVER happen to me! I am in Denver for a conference, I got a call this morning from my friend Colby, who was downstairs in the lobby. He said that he finally asked why there were so may police officers and super secret people everywhere. One guy told Colby 'Barack Obama is here'. So I freaked out! Told him that was the coolest thing ever....that I was going to go to the gym in the hotel and then meet Colby downstairs at registration. Well, as I was walking into the gym, I saw a bunch of police/secret service looking folks looking in the elevators, workout room, etc. I went on in and jumped on the treadmill. They were all full. Then, the girl next to me got off. And I was jogging and had JUST started actually RUNNING.....I look to my left. AND THERE HE WAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Less than 6 inches away from me. He ran from the minute he got on. So, of course, I couldnt stop running. He got off after about 15 minutes, and went the the elliptical machine which was 2 machines over from me. After about 10 minutes of that, he got off....and what did I do???? I JUMPED ON HIS ELLIPTICAL MACHINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-) I had Barack sweat on my hands. Very cool. I am a HUUUUGE Barack supported (hush, KT!) so this was huge for me! :-) Just wanted to share with my buddies. Miss yall! Love Cade."...Only Cade...

Announcing Baby Barret Peaster!
We are delighted to announce the birth of our little boy, John Barret Peaster, on Tuesday, May 6, at 12:30 p.m. We are home and adjusting to life with a newborn again. His big sister Morgan is thrilled to have a new baby in our house and is a great helper to mommy! We did find her putting Hannah Montana glitter lipgloss on him on Wednesday - he was smacking his glittery lips because he liked the taste - it is strawberry flavored! Never a dull moment around here!
